We are seeking a detail-oriented Assembler to join our dynamic Electronics Assembly team in the semiconductor industry. Position: Assembler Department: Electronics Assembly Company: Solid State Devices, Inc. (SSDI) Schedule: Full-time / Monday - Friday / 6:00am - 2:30pm (potential for overtime as business needs require) Salary: Starts at $18.50 per hour / Paid bi-weekly / Direct Deposit This is not a guarantee of compensation or salary, as final offer may vary based on experience, qualifications, and other factors. Position Summary Solid State Devices, Inc. is seeking Assemblers to perform mechanical inspections and clean components in our Electronics Assembly Department. Assemblers are responsible for assembling semiconductor devices and components in accordance with drawings and specifications, using specialized equipment, hand tools, and microscopes. Responsibilities Mechanical inspection and cleaning of components to ensure they are free of debris, properly aligned, and securely soldered Ensure subassemblies are properly handled Use of manufacturing hand tools (soldering iron, pliers, drills, etc.) Proficient in microscope operation Read and interpret mechanical drawings Follow standardized procedures Follow verbal and written instructions Maintain an organized and safe work environment Required Qualifications High School Diploma or equivalent. Basic math skills required. Preferred Qualifications At least 6 months of experience in a related position is a plus! Experience using hand tools and microscopes . Soldering experience is preferred.
