Accounting Specialist

Accounting ClerkSupport Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, inventory, and office administration for one of the nation's largest commercial printers.Solo Printing is seeking a proactive, organized, and detail-oriented Accounting Clerk to join our accounting team. This position supports key accounting functions, including Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, inventory, and general administrative duties. The ideal candidate has at least two years of bookkeeping or accounting experience, is comfortable working with numbers and financial records, and enjoys solving problems in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.Accounts ReceivableGenerate and issue customer invoices accurately and on time.Record incoming payments and reconcile customer accounts.Monitor accounts for past-due invoices and contact customers regarding outstanding balances.Follow up professionally and consistently on overdue payments.Communicate with customers to research and resolve billing discrepancies and payment issues.Maintain accurate and organized Accounts Receivable records.Accounts PayableReceive, review, and accurately enter vendor invoices into the accounting system.Reconcile vendor accounts and monthly statements and investigate discrepancies.Prepare and review checks and supporting documentation.Ensure invoices are properly reconciled and payments are processed on time.Maintain complete and organized Accounts Payable records.InventoryAssist with maintaining accurate inventory records.Support physical inventory counts and reconciliation activities.Research and help resolve inventory variances.Record inventory transactions in the accounting system as required.Administrative & Office SupportMaintain organized filing systems for financial and office documentation.Professionally answer and route incoming phone calls as needed.Provide administrative support to the Business Manager, including report preparation, document formatting, filing, and calendar coordination.Assist with other accounting and administrative projects as assigned.QualificationsHigh school diploma or equivalent required; additional coursework in accounting, bookkeeping, or a related field is a plus.Minimum of 2 years of bookkeeping or accounting experience required.Working knowledge of Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable processes.Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and organizational skills.Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook.Experience with accounting software preferred.Basic understanding of GAAP principles is a plus.Strong written and verbal communication skills.Ability to prioritize responsibilities and work effectively both independently and as part of a team.Bilingual: fluent in English and Spanish.BenefitsMedical, Dental, and Vision insurance available401(k) plan (eligibility after 1 year)Paid personal time off (PTO) accrued every paycheckOpportunities for growth and advancement within the companyLocation: Miami, FL 33166 (on-site)Pay: $20.00 to $23.00 per hour, depending on experienceSchedule: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PMDepartment: AccountingApply for Accounting Clerk.
