Research Associate, Laboratory Sciences

About the Role As a Research Associate in the Lab Sciences department, you will work independently in day‑to‑day laboratory operations, collect and review data, and support ligand binding, flow cytometry, molecular biology, and LCMS/MS activities as needed. Responsibilities Perform laboratory maintenance (cleaning, ordering supplies, equipment preventive maintenance, etc.) Collect and organize laboratory data according to oversight documents (e.g., Protocol, Analytical Study Plan, SOPs) Create and revise SOPs and SOP forms Work independently on study‑related tasks Perform quality control review of laboratory and study records Assist with method development activities Qualifications Associate's degree in a scientific discipline or equivalent education and laboratory experience; Bachelor's degree preferred Minimum of 1 year of relevant laboratory experience; GLP or regulatory experience preferred Basic to intermediate computer skills Benefits Health, dental, and vision insurance plans 401(k)/RRSP with employer match Paid vacation and holidays Paid sick and bereavement leave Employee Assistance & Telehealth programs Telework when applicable Training & development programs Employee referral bonus program Altasciences is an equal opportunity employer committed to diversity and inclusion.
