• Experience: Orthopedic experience required, including Zimmer and Arthrex; must handle all specialties (Orthopedics, ENT, GYN, Spine, Urology, Cataracts, General Surgery)

Pay & Benefits

• Pay Rate: Varies based on experience, approximately $31.35 to $46.59 per hour (equivalent to an annual salary of $65,208)

What You'll Do

• Assist with a variety of surgical procedures in a busy OR setting
• Prepare operating rooms, including setup and terminal cleaning of cases
• Collaborate with surgical teams to ensure smooth case flow and infection control
• Float to SPD and assist with instrument processing when needed
• Support all surgical specialties, including orthopedic, ENT, GYN, spine, and more
• Maintain patient safety and follow hospital protocols
• Contribute to efficient and effective surgical services in a lean, fast-paced environment

What You Need

Required:

• Active RN license in Kansas
• BLS and ACLS certifications (AHA or ARC)
• Minimum orthopedic surgical experience, especially with Zimmer and Arthrex equipment
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced setting

Preferred:

• Experience with Meditech Expanse charting system
• Flexibility for floating to SPD and other departments

About the Assignment This position is with a small, physician-owned hospital averaging 20 surgeries daily, primarily focusing on orthopedic procedures such as total joint replacements and sports medicine. The facility operates a six-suite OR, serving both adult and pediatric patients in a dynamic, efficient environment. Staff are expected to be proficient across multiple specialties and assist in both OR and SPD as needed. The hospital values teamwork and aims for high efficiency and quality patient care.
