Medical Laboratory Scientist II

Key Responsibilities
- Perform complex laboratory tests across multiple disciplines, including chemistry, hematology, microbiology, and blood bank.
- Operate, maintain, and troubleshoot advanced laboratory equipment to ensure precise and accurate test results.
- Analyze and interpret test data, ensuring compliance with rigorous quality control standards.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to support timely, accurate patient diagnoses and treatment plans.
- Contribute to quality improvement initiatives and pursue ongoing professional development opportunities.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Medical Laboratory Science or a related field.
- Certification as a Medical Laboratory Scientist (MLS) or Medical Technologist (MT) from ASCP or a comparable accrediting agency.
- Experience with laboratory information systems (LIS), such as Epic Beaker and SoftBank, is preferred.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a proven ability to thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
