Job Full Description

Company Information: A company in Shelbyville, Indiana is hiring 2nd and 3rd Shift Industrial Maintenance Technicians to their team! This is a direct hire opportunity!

The Maintenance Technician will:

Perform maintenance and repair on industrial machinery and equipment.
Troubleshoot and resolve mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic issues.
Conduct preventative maintenance on all equipment.
Utilize volt meters and other diagnostic tools.
Assist with other general maintenance duties as needed.

Job Duties:

Perform preventative maintenance on injection molding machines and production equipment
Troubleshoot electrical and mechanical issues to minimize downtime
Repair and adjust machinery to maintain optimal performance
Conduct root cause and failure analysis to prevent recurring equipment issues
Design and build fixtures to support production and rework activities
Maintain spare parts inventory for equipment and fixtures
Complete maintenance records, repair documentation, and inspection reports
Communicate machine issues requiring future repairs to management
Provide technical support to operators and other maintenance team members
Work closely with production teams to support manufacturing goals
Follow all safety procedures and participate in safety initiatives

Maintenance Technician's Pay/Benefits:

Up to $35/HR (based on experience)

Schedule:

2nd Shift: Monday - Friday / 2PM-10:30PM
3rd Shift: Sunday - Thursday / 10PM-6:30AM

Requirements:

Prior experience in industrial maintenance or a similar role
Familiarity with 480v three-phase electricity
Strong understanding of mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems
Injection molding maintenance experience preferred, but not required
Ability to read and interpret schematics, blueprints, and technical manuals
