Business Analyst – Banking & Financial Services Lewis James Professional is a woman‑owned staff augmentation, project consulting and direct hire search and placement firm. We are currently seeking a Business Analyst for a consultant opportunity with a financial services client. Responsibilities Analyze and document functional and technical requirements of projects within various business lines. Partner with department leaders, operations, and technology teams to define business needs, process improvements, and solution requirements. Create and maintain business requirement documents, process maps, workflows, and other initiatives. Monitor project progress, identify issues, and provide status updates and recommendations to project leadership and key stakeholders. Support solution design and implementation by collaborating with technology teams to ensure requirements are translated into deliverables. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Information Systems, or related field 5+ years of Business Analyst experience, preferably within banking or financial services. Familiarity with regulatory, compliance, and risk management frameworks within financial institutions. Demonstrated experience partnering with cross‑functional business and technology teams to support complex initiatives. Strong analytical, communication, and collaboration skills.
