Key Responsibilities\n

  Conduct thorough evaluations of clients’ mood disorders, including assessing the intensity, frequency, and duration of symptoms, and formulating personalized treatment plans.

  Utilize evidence-based therapeutic approaches such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and various family therapy modalities, including structural family therapy and narrative therapy.

  Educate clients and families on mood disorders, treatment options, and effective self-care strategies to enhance their overall mental wellness.

  Monitor client progress regularly, adjusting treatment plans as necessary, and maintain comprehensive and accurate documentation of client interactions and outcomes to comply with legal and ethical guidelines.

  Collaborate with psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals to provide integrated care for clients with complex needs.

  Engage in continuous professional development by staying updated with the latest research and therapy techniques for mood disorders.

  Participate in team meetings, case consultations, and professional development opportunities to share knowledge and promote best practices within the team.

  Advocate for clients' rights and needs while working diligently to reduce stigma associated with mental health challenges.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

In this role, you will primarily work with individuals and families facing challenges related to marital issues, child-rearing conflicts, and other intricate family dynamics. Our clients often seek support during pivotal life transitions, particularly divorce and relational distress, and require a therapist who can navigate these challenging conversations with empathy and professionalism.

Qualifications\n

  Must hold a current and active state license as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT).

  A Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy or a related field is required.

  Demonstrated empathy and a nonjudgmental approach are critical to support clients in their unique experiences.

  The salary for this role ranges from USD 70,000 to 90,000 annually, commensurate with qualifications and experience.
