Staff AccountantGreater Nashville, TN Area (Remote – Open to Nashville, TN / Greater Nashville candidates only) Salary range: $60,000 – $75,000 Accounting ServicesAbout the Opportunity – Staff AccountantOur recruiting team is partnering with a growing accounting services organization seeking a detail-oriented Staff Accountant for a fully remote, temporary-to-hire opportunity. This role offers exposure to a diverse client base across multiple industries, hands-on accounting responsibilities, and the opportunity to collaborate with an experienced and supportive team environment.Key Responsibilities – Staff AccountantPerform account reconciliations using QuickBooks OnlinePrepare and maintain Balance Sheets and Profit & Loss (P&L) StatementsGenerate and analyze financial reports using Microsoft ExcelProcess general accounting activities, including debits, credits, and account reconciliationsAssist with financial statement preparation and month-end accounting functionsSupport client compliance initiatives, including exposure to government contracting and DCAA-related requirementsCollaborate with senior accounting professionals and participate in ongoing training and developmentMaintain accuracy and organization while managing multiple client accountsQualifications – Staff AccountantBachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance strongly preferred2-3 years' experience in a similar positionExperience using QuickBooks OnlineStrong foundational knowledge of accounting principles and practicesProficiency with Microsoft Excel, including VLOOKUPs and Pivot TablesExperience with Microsoft Office SuiteAbility to prepare financial reports, reconciliations, and financial statementsStrong attention to detail and organizational skillsEffective communication skills and ability to work independently in a remote environmentAvailability to work a full-time, 40-hour schedule with flexible start times as determined by business needsPosition Details:Fully remote role with an initial in-person equipment pickup on the first dayTemporary-to-hire opportunityFlexible scheduling with a full 40-hour work week.
