Staff Accountant

You'll gain broad exposure across corporate accounting, financial reporting, month-end close, and business operations while working alongside experienced finance leaders in a fast-paced, evolving organization. What You'll Do Prepare and post journal entries while maintaining the integrity of the general ledger. Perform monthly account reconciliations and investigate reconciling items. Support month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close activities to ensure timely and accurate financial reporting. Assist in preparing monthly financial statements, supporting schedules, and management reporting. Analyze balance sheet and income statement accounts to identify trends, explain variances, and ensure accuracy. Participate in financial analysis, budgeting, forecasting, and planning initiatives. Support accounting for multiple legal entities and assist with entity setup as the business grows. Provide cross-functional support for Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Payroll, invoicing, and other transactional accounting processes. Assist with annual financial statement audits, tax audits, and compliance reporting. Partner with internal stakeholders across departments to deliver exceptional service and financial support. Identify opportunities to streamline accounting processes, strengthen internal controls, and improve operational efficiency. Participate in special projects and other finance initiatives as assigned. What We're Looking For Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance. 1-3 years of progressive accounting or finance experience. At least one year of general ledger accounting experience. Experience with month-end close, account reconciliations, financial reporting, and financial analysis. Strong understanding of GAAP and accounting best practices. Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, and data analysis functions. Experience with Microsoft Dynamics GP (Great Plains) or another ERP system is preferred. Experience in a SaaS, technology, or high-growth environment is a plus. Strong analytical, organizational, and problem‑solving abilities. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining exceptional attention to detail. Collaborative mindset with the ability to work independently and cross-functionally.
