Key Responsibilities

• Guide specimen collection and properly prepare samples for additional testing when necessary.

• Create a safe and organized laboratory environment in compliance with regulatory standards and requirements.

Education Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Clinical or Medical Laboratory Science or an equivalent allied health degree, with a focus on ASCP/AMT certification preparation.

Necessary Certifications

• ASCP or AMT Board Certification in Clinical Laboratory Science (CLS) to be obtained within the first year of employment.
• Ensure continuous certification while employed.
