Work Environment

This position is onsite at our rehabilitation facility, where you will work alongside a talented team comprised of two experienced physical therapists and a physical therapy assistant (PTA). Our clinic operates during regular business hours, Monday to Friday from 9 AM to 5 PM, providing a structured and stable working environment. The teamwork within our clinic fosters collaboration and continuous learning, enhancing the overall quality of care.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough assessments to recognize and fulfill the individual goals and needs of patients efficiently.
• Manage a patient load of one individual per hour, ensuring quality time and attention for each patient.
• Design and implement personalized care plans utilizing a variety of treatment techniques tailored to the needs of orthopedic patients.
• Employ cost-effective treatment strategies aimed at enhancing clients' motion and mobility, while minimizing reliance on medications.
• Develop and customize fitness and wellness programs that address specific patient requirements for optimal recovery.
• Provide quality, evidence-based care that incorporates proven interventions to motivate and empower patients throughout their rehabilitation.
• Evaluate treatment effects, monitor patient progress, and maintain transparent communication with patients and healthcare professionals.
• Document all patient interactions and services provided accurately for ongoing care and compliance.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our patient base primarily consists of individuals with private medical insurance, specifically those requiring orthopedic rehabilitation. We cater to diverse needs, ranging from post-operative recovery to injury rehabilitation, promoting a holistic approach to health and wellness. As a Physical Therapist, you will play a crucial role in enhancing patients' quality of life by guiding them through their recovery journey.

Qualifications

• Required: DPT degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program.
• Active licensure as a Physical Therapist in New Jersey with no disciplinary actions against the license.
• Strong manual therapy skills and proficiency in creating effective and individualized exercise routines.
• Experience working with EMR software, particularly WebPT, to ensure efficient documentation and care management.

Preferred Experience

• A minimum of two years of experience in a physical therapy setting, particularly in orthopedic outpatient care.
• Proven track record in designing and implementing successful rehabilitation programs.
• Experience working collaboratively with multidisciplinary healthcare teams to enhance patient outcomes.

Compensation and Benefits

This full-time position offers an annual salary range of USD 100,000 – 125,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
