CVICU Registered Nurse (RN)An opportunity is available for a highly skilled and dedicated CVICU Registered Nurse. The successful candidate will join a team focused on delivering exceptional patient care in a Cardiac Surgical Intensive Care Unit setting. This role requires a commitment to providing top-notch nursing care to patients undergoing cardiac surgery and related procedures.ResponsibilitiesProvide comprehensive nursing care to patients in the CVICU.Monitor and assess patient conditions, implementing appropriate interventions.Collaborate with medical staff and interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.Educate patients and families on care plans and necessary follow-up.Document all patient care activities accurately and in a timely manner.QualificationsMust have a minimum of 12 months of permanent experience in CVICU.No current or pending disciplinary action with the relevant licensing board.Current Ohio nursing license or Compact State license in hand.AHA or American Red Cross certification in BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS required.Ability to work at least every other holiday.Successful completion of an ECG rhythm recognition test and safeMedicate assessment during orientation, achieving acceptable scores on both.Shift InformationThis position is for a night shift, requiring three 12-hour shifts from 7 PM to 7:30 AM.Client Details State OH
