Key Responsibilities\n

• Engage in comprehensive therapeutic sessions providing psychotherapy or counseling to individuals, families, couples, or groups.

• Conduct client interviews to gather detailed histories, including social, personal, environmental, and health information essential for effective treatment.

• Assess and treat a variety of mental health challenges, employing evidenced-based practices within your scope of practice.
\n
• Design and implement tailored programs and activities that cater to the unique emotional and social needs of clients.
\n
• Facilitate crisis intervention strategies for cases requiring immediate support, including effective referrals to necessary community resources.

• Build and maintain respectful, trust-based relationships with clients, enabling open communication and engagement.
\n
• Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of treatment interventions, making adjustments as necessary to optimize patient outcomes.

• Document all client interactions and treatment strategies in adherence to established protocols to maintain accurate and confidential client records.

• Manage a caseload effectively, ensuring up-to-date records and timely communication with team members regarding client progress.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Our client population is diverse, encompassing individuals and families facing a range of mental health issues, including depression, anxiety, substance use disorders, grief, and relational challenges. At the Detox Center, you will primarily work with clients experiencing acute behavioral health crises, requiring skilled intervention and long-term therapeutic strategies. Your contributions will be vital in helping them reclaim their mental wellness and achieve healthier lifestyles.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s degree in Social Work, Psychology, Counseling, or a related field is mandatory.

• The candidate must hold a valid LCSW license in the state of Florida.

• Candidate should possess a minimum of four years of direct experience in social work, counseling, or a related field.

Preferred Experience\n

• Demonstrated prior counseling experience specifically addressing behavioral health issues such as mood disorders, addiction, grief and loss, and relationship counseling.

• Experience working with clients in crisis situations and providing short-term resolutions alongside long-term follow-up care.
