Overview

We are seeking an experienced Real Estate Paralegal familiar with documents used in conjunction with real estate transactions. As a Real Estate Paralegal, you will be responsible for managing and overseeing the process of reviewing contracts, ordering relevant searches, double-checking vendor work/searches, document preparation, review and recording of those documents for our organization. This role requires strong communication skills, attention to detail and industry document expertise. Responsibilities

• Work with clients to ensure their files are ordered timely
• Follow up with vendors on status of files
• Follow up internally with status of typing and distributing binders
• Develop and implement strategic plans to ensure efficient and effective operations
• Review legal documents with external parties
• Ensure compliance with all legal and regulatory requirements
• Monitor industry trends and developments to identify opportunities for process improvement

Experience

• Proven experience in New York real estate industry
• Strong knowledge of documents used in the real estate transaction and procedures for recording same.
• Demonstrated ability to manage complex projects and meet deadlines
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to think strategically
• Strong negotiation skills and the ability to build effective relationships with external parties
• Experience in process improvement and operations management
• Ability to work with a team
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
