Field Service TechnicianPosted 04-Aug-2026 (CST) Dallas, TX, USA Hourly Full TimeLocated in: within 2 hour radius of Dallas, TX; Reports remotely to TulsaReports to: Field Service SupervisorCollaborates with: All DepartmentsPrimary Responsibility: This position is responsible for supporting customers with on-site service, technical support, and on-site training. Primary functions of this position are commissioning new SCR equipment; preventive maintenance, troubleshooting and repair of existing SCR equipment; and telephone customer support. The Field Service Technician also prepares reports documenting the work performed and the performance of the equipment. The Field Service Technician typically works in a non-smoking environment.What You'll Do:Commissioning the total system scope supplied by MIRATECH on new installationsPerform routine maintenance and service on existing productsProvide telephone support to customers including troubleshooting and replacement parts identificationSite coordination and project meetingsPost-commissioning customer training on operations and maintenanceDaily reports to customers and internal staff while in the fieldFollow up customer calls after service work completionKeep up-to-date on company products and servicesPlan own work schedule efficientlyMaintain test equipment and special tools calibrationWhat Qualifies You:Working knowledge of industrial instrumentation & controls including analog transmitters, temperature/pressure measuring devices, PID controls.Proficiency with AC and DC Circuits including Relay LogicSharp analytical mind with an interest in engines, controls, and emissionsEnthusiasm to learn and become an expertDemonstrated ability to make independent decisions and work in a loosely structured environmentExcellent organizational and time management skills; able to juggle multiple priorities and deadlinesExcellent problem solving skills60 - 75% overnight travel - with higher concentrations during peak seasons.0-4 years prior field service technician experience or equivalent knowledge, skills, and abilities.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Able to communicate effectively in writing and verbally.Proficient with MS Office applications (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
