Shipping & Receiving Coordinator

Ultimate Staffing is currently seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Shipping & Receiving Coordinator for a growing manufacturing company in Milford, CT. Responsibilities Receive incoming shipments and verify contents against purchase orders. Inspect shipments for damage and document any discrepancies. Unpack, label, and organize received materials in designated storage areas. Prepare outgoing shipments by verifying orders and shipping methods. Pack and box products up to 110" in length; boxes may weigh up to 50 lbs. Maintain point-of-use inventory, including staples, tape, labels, boxes, and other shipping supplies. Ensure complete accuracy of all shipping transactions using StarShip (WorldShip experience accepted). Perform various clerical and administrative duties related to shipping and receiving. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area. Ensure accuracy of shipping documentation. Use computer-based systems to ship, track inventory, and update stock records. Process shipments through UPS, FedEx, and international carriers using StarShip. Collaborate with internal departments to resolve shipping and inventory issues. Safely operate pallet jacks to move materials throughout the shipping and receiving area. Qualifications & Experience Minimum of 2 years of shipping and receiving experience using StarShip or WorldShip. Ability to perform basic math calculations accurately for inventory management. Experience with picking, packing, and order fulfillment in a warehouse or manufacturing environment. Knowledge of proper packaging techniques to ensure safe transportation of products. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. Requirements High school diploma or equivalent required. Ability to lift up to 50 lbs using proper lifting techniques. Ability to stand for most of the workday. Comfortable working in a fast-paced, multitasking environment. Proficiency with Microsoft Word and Outlook. Excellent attendance and reliable transportation required.
