Job Responsibilities

• Deliver personalized speech therapy sessions emphasizing language, fluency, voice, and swallowing techniques.
• Work together with physical and occupational therapists, nurses, doctors, families, and caregivers to ensure holistic care.
• Educate patients and their families, providing tools and strategies to foster progress beyond therapy sessions.
• Participate in occasional inpatient evaluations and therapies, ensuring continuity throughout the patient's health journey.
• Ensure precision and timeliness in documentation, adhering to all compliance standards set forth.
• Stay updated on the latest research and advancements in speech-language pathology through ongoing education and shared learning with peers.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution.
• Completion of a supervised Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) if not yet ASHA-certified.

Certifications

• State licensure as a Speech Language Pathologist .
• Preferred: Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from ASHA.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required within the first month of employment.
