Outpatient Orthopedic Physical Therapist - Full-Time Position

Position Overview

We invite you to join our dedicated team at the Motion and Health Rehabilitation Center as a full-time Outpatient Orthopedic Physical Therapist. This role is significantly focused on enhancing the quality of life for our patients through specialized care in an orthopedic outpatient setting. You will work within a friendly, collaborative environment, managing a reasonable caseload of three patients per hour, thereby allowing you to provide personal, attentive care that drives optimal recovery outcomes.

Work Environment

This onsite role will take place in a dynamic rehabilitation center that prioritizes teamwork and interdisciplinary collaboration. Your typical work hours will be from Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, allowing for a stable work-life balance. In our facility, you will have access to state-of-the-art therapeutic equipment and an electronic medical record (EMR) system, CureMD, which aids in efficient tracking of patient progress and record-keeping.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive evaluations of adult patients with various orthopedic conditions, establishing baseline data for effective treatment planning.
• Implement and modify individualized treatment plans that may include a combination of manual therapy techniques, therapeutic exercises, and patient education to facilitate recovery.
• Document patient progress accurately in CureMD EMR, ensuring all updates reflect the patient's rehabilitation journey and responses to treatment.
• Collaborate closely with a diverse team of healthcare providers, including medical doctors, occupational therapists, chiropractors, nurse practitioners, and physician assistants, to support a well-rounded approach to patient care.
• Provide sports and injury prevention guidance to patients to help them achieve long-term health and fitness goals.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your primary focus will be on adult patients aged 40-65 years old who present with orthopedic conditions such as sports injuries, post-surgical rehabilitation, musculoskeletal disorders, and chronic pain. You'll be tasked with understanding each patient's unique challenges and aspirations, guiding them back to their desired level of function.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy is required, along with an active New Jersey physical therapy license or eligibility to obtain one.
• Strong problem-solving skills are essential, as you will need to navigate the complexities of varied orthopedic conditions and develop effective solutions for patient care.
• Exceptional communication skills are crucial to fostering collaboration and encouraging patients throughout their rehabilitation journey.

Preferred Experience

• While a minimum of two years of experience is preferred, we warmly welcome new graduates who are committed to learning and professional growth within our organization.
• Prior experience in an outpatient clinic setting, particularly in orthopedic rehabilitation, is highly advantageous but not mandatory.

Compensation and Benefits

The position offers a competitive salary range of USD 110,000 to 125,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications. Additionally, we provide a comprehensive benefits package that includes:
