Work Environment

As a Physical Therapist at our facility, you will be part of a friendly, cooperative team that values communication and collaboration. You will have full access to advanced therapy equipment and tools, and you will work onsite in a structured environment where patient care is the top priority. Our working hours are Monday through Friday, from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, allowing for a balanced professional and personal life.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage a caseload of three patients per hour while delivering individualized treatment programs.
• Design, implement, and adjust treatment plans based on thorough assessments and the evolving needs of each patient.
• Employ a variety of therapeutic techniques, including hands-on manual therapy, therapeutic exercises, and modalities such as ultrasound or electrical stimulation, aimed at optimizing patient function.
• Conduct regular evaluations and progress assessments to track patient outcomes, and document all interactions and treatment plans in the CureMD electronic medical records (EMR) system.
• Engage in multidisciplinary team meetings and collaborate effectively with physicians (MDs), occupational therapists (OTs), chiropractors (DCs), nurse practitioners (NPs), and physician assistants (PAs) to coordinate patient care.
• Foster strong relationships with patients to encourage engagement in their care and motivate them towards their rehabilitation goals.

Patient Population / Client Focus

In this role, you will primarily work with adults aged 40-65, many of whom are seeking rehabilitation following orthopedic surgeries, injuries, or chronic pain management. Your expertise will help address their unique rehabilitation needs, ranging from post-operative recovery to pain relief strategies. Your ability to build rapport and trust with patients will be crucial to facilitating their recovery journeys.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution.
• Active or eligible New Jersey Physical Therapy license.
• Strong clinical reasoning, problem-solving skills, and effective communication abilities.
• Commitment to providing high-quality patient care while maintaining professional standards.

Preferred Experience

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in an outpatient setting is highly desired, though not mandatory.
• Experience using CureMD EMR or similar documentation software would be advantageous.
• Previous experience working with orthopedic patients is preferred but not essential; a willingness to learn and adapt is valued.

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive compensation package that includes an annual salary ranging from $110,000 to $130,000, based on your experience, along with a range of employee benefits. These include:
