Healthcare Customer Support Specialist

To support a growing remote team, the part-time Healthcare Customer Support Specialist will provide excellent customer service and patient support, verify patient information, and assist with prescription benefit inquiries while working flexible shifts between 8am-8pm EST. Key responsibilities Provide excellent customer service and support to patients regarding their prescription benefits Verify patient information and gather necessary billing and medical details Answer inbound calls and perform outbound calls to assist patients with their concerns Required qualifications Minimum of 1 year of recent call center experience Knowledge of medical terminology, HIPAA regulations, and patient privacy practices is a plus High school diploma or equivalent Basic technical troubleshooting skills for common remote work issues Must have a private, quiet workspace and high-speed wired internet connection
