Responsibilities Conduct both standard and advanced laboratory tests, including chemistry, hematology, and immunology, adhering to established protocols. Ensure results are accurate by analyzing findings, troubleshooting anomalies, and conducting preventative maintenance and calibration on laboratory equipment. Assist with specimen collection and handle sample preparations for testing. Document all lab procedures meticulously, train new personnel or students, and help maintain the standards of laboratory quality. Create and sustain a clean, safe working environment while following all regulatory and accreditation guidelines. Education A Bachelor's degree in Clinical or Medical Laboratory Science or an equivalent allied health degree, with ASCP/AMT certification preparation. Certifications ASCP or AMT Board of Certification in Clinical Laboratory Science (CLS) to be obtained within one year of hire. Maintain active certifications throughout your employment life. Skills Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to facilitate effective collaboration with healthcare teams. Ability to exercise independent judgment and problem-solving skills in high‑pressure environments.
