Opportunity Highlights

Schedule: 4 days per month, 7:00 AM - 3:00 PM plus beeper call
Job Setting: Hospital - CT Surgery Department
Types of Cases:
- 10-15 CVICU/step-down patients per day, plus 1-2 surgeries
- Special procedures include temporary pacemaker removal, chest tube removal, IABP removal, and A-line placement
Credentialing: 30 days
EMR: Cerner
Patient Population: Adult/Geriatric
Support Staff: Surgeon

Minimum Requirements

Certifications:
- Graduate from an Acute Care Nurse Practitioner Program
- Completion of a RN/NP First Assistant Program
- Current unrestricted Arizona APRN license
- Medical Surgical or NP ANCC or AANP Certification
- ACLS and BLS
Licensure:
- Current unrestricted Arizona APRN license
- DEA - Required
Minimum Experience: 3 years in cardiothoracic surgery with proficiency in EVH
