Qualifications:

• Active Texas SLP license is required
• Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC), Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY), or equivalent credentials
• Previous experience in pediatric or K–12 school settings preferred
• Strong knowledge of assessment tools and therapy techniques for school-aged children and adolescents
• Excellent communication, adaptability, and organizational skills
• Commitment to fostering inclusive learning environments

Role Details & Responsibilities:

• Contract position, covering 37.5 hours per week over a standard five-day schedule
• Serve a K–12 caseload, providing both direct intervention and consultation
• Develop, implement, and monitor individualized therapy plans
• Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and parents to support each child’s unique needs
• Maintain accurate documentation and compliance with school and state guidelines
• Participate in IEP meetings and multidisciplinary teams as necessary
• Provide compassionate, evidence-based care while adjusting to shifting demands
