Reporting directly to the CFO, this high-visibility role focuses on reviewing property-level financials, managing entity and fund accounting, and producing consolidated financial statements and investor reporting packages. It is an excellent opportunity for a confident accountant ready to broaden their experience and make a meaningful impact within an entrepreneurial firm.Hit Apply below to send your application for consideration Ensure that your CV is up to date, and that you have read the job specs first.ResponsibilitiesGather and review financial statements, trial balances, and supporting reports from third-party property operators for accuracy and completenessIdentify discrepancies in property-level financials and coordinate with operators to resolve errorsManage entity-level, fund, joint venture, equity, and intercompany accountingPrepare journal entries, reconciliations, accruals, and supporting schedulesConsolidate property-level results into accurate portfolio and entity financial statementsPrepare investor reporting packages using property financials, trial balances, and supporting schedulesProduce variance analyses and management reportsAssist with acquisitions, dispositions, capital activity, and distributionsSupport audits, tax preparation, and external reporting requestsImprove reporting processes, internal controls, and monthly close proceduresPartner with the CFO on financial analysis and special projectsQualificationsBachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field3-5+ years of progressive accounting and financial reporting experienceReal estate accounting experience strongly preferredComfortable reviewing property-level financial statements and trial balances, identifying errors, and resolving discrepanciesExperience with multiple entities, consolidations, and financial statement preparationStrong understanding of entity-level accounting; xhyhwjd fund, joint venture, equity, or investment accounting experience highly desirableConfidence in independently reviewing financial information and producing accurate financial statements and investor reportsStrong knowledge of U.S. GAAP and advanced Excel skillsCPA and/or public accounting experience is a plusOrganized, proactive, detail-oriented, and comfortable taking ownership in a growing environmentThis is an exciting opportunity to join a collaborative, high-performing team with excellent benefits, direct exposure to senior leadership, and a clear path to step into an Accounting Manager role as the platform continues to expand.
