Job Summary

A well-established organization in the agricultural manufacturing and distribution industry is seeking a detail-oriented Bookkeeper / Admin Support professional for a direct-hire opportunity in Reedley, CA. This role is ideal for an experienced accounting support professional who enjoys balancing bookkeeping, Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, reconciliations, and administrative responsibilities in a fast-paced business environment.

The Bookkeeper / Admin Support position supports multiple related business entities and works closely with accounting and leadership teams. Candidates who enjoy accuracy, teamwork, dependable processes, and varied day-to-day responsibilities will find this to be a strong long-term opportunity with a stable and growing organization. The work environment offers supportive leadership, collaborative office operations, and the opportunity to contribute directly to financial recordkeeping, customer support, vendor management, and overall business efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

- Process customer invoices, apply payments, prepare deposits, reconcile customer balances, and manage receivables across multiple business entities.
- Monitor aging reports, follow up on overdue accounts, research billing discrepancies, and respond to customer account inquiries.
- Process vendor invoices, verify coding and approvals, maintain AP records, reconcile vendor statements, and support payment processing.
- Maintain organized accounting records, vendor files, W-9 documentation, payment records, and assist with annual 1099 reporting.
- Support month-end close activities, AR and AP reconciliations, data entry, reporting, correspondence, and special projects.
- Provide administrative support to management and accounting teams, including answering phones, assisting with office operations, and supporting process improvements.

Compensation and Benefits

- $27.00 to $29.00 per hour, depending on experience and qualifications.
