Billing Coordinator - Washington, DC
Beacon Hill is seeking a Billing Specialist to join a growing team! This position is responsible for high-volume invoicing, billing accuracy, account reconciliation, and supporting accounts receivable functions. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, organized, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with competing priorities.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare and process high-volume invoices accurately and on time
- Review contracts and billing terms to ensure proper invoicing
- Track billable expenses, hours, and supporting documentation
- Research and resolve billing discrepancies
- Respond to internal and external billing inquiries
- Reconcile billing records and maintain data accuracy
- Partner with accounting and operations teams to gather and validate billing information
- Assist with reporting, system updates, and process improvements
Qualifications:
- 1+ years of billing, accounts receivable, or accounting support experience
- Strong understanding of invoicing and billing processes
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel
- Experience with ERP or billing systems preferred
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Ability to manage deadlines in a high-volume environment
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
