Senior Billing Coordinator

Job Details:

Senior Billing Coordinator -- A hybrid work schedule is available! Washington, DC $85-100k

Our growing law firm client in Washington, DC is seeking an experienced Legal Billing professional to handle the entire legal billing process for multiple attorneys across several offices. 

*A flexible, hybrid work schedule is available.

Current / prior legal environment billing experience is required.

Elite, 3E, Aderant or similar legal billing software experience is required.

Bachelor's Degree preferred, but not required.

Specific duties:

1. Creating and reviewing monthly billing reports to ensure accuracy and completeness
2. Generating invoices and sending them to clients
3. Coordinating with attorneys and clients to resolve billing discrepancies or disputes
4. Inputting billable hours and expenses into the accounting system
5. Managing and maintaining billing records and files
6. Assisting with the collection and follow-up on unpaid or overdue invoices
7. Collaborating with other departments such as finance and administrative staff to ensure smooth billing processes
