Howmet Aerospace is seeking a highly motivated intern to join our

Legal

team for an

8-weekinternship

in the

Summer of 2027

. The internship will be located in our corporate office in

Pittsburgh, PA

and follows a hybrid schedule with remote work on Tuesdays and Fridays. Why join us? Your education is just beginning! You’ll play a key role in helping Howmet Aerospace continue its long-standing legacy of innovation and success. As a Legal intern, you’ll have the chance to work with leaders across the company, while working alongside our Legal team. Our legal interns gain hands-on experience in corporate law, contract management, intellectual property, labor and employment, litigation, and regulatory compliance. Internships typically run in the months of June, July, or August. Key Responsibilities Draft, review, and negotiate commercial contracts Prepare briefing documents, risk assessments, and policy updates Assist in regulatory filings and compliance monitoring Support litigation and dispute resolution efforts Conduct legal research Perform due diligence reviews Participate in team meetings Qualifications

Qualifications Currently enrolled in a JD program at an accredited law school (ideally a rising 3L in the Summer of 2027)

Minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0 or equivalent

Demonstrated internship, work, research, or extracurricular participation

Strong analytical, writing, and communication skills

Detail‑oriented with the ability to manage multiple priorities

Proactive, self‑motivated, and eager to contribute

Please note that interns must be legally authorized to work in the United States. Verification of employment eligibility will be required at the time of hire. Visa sponsorship is not available for this position. Compensation Compensation for this internship opportunity is estimated to be $5,000 per month (actual compensation may vary due to factors such as education, experience, or skillset).

A relocation stipend in the amount of $3,500 will be provided to students located 50+ miles from Pittsburgh, PA.
