Territory Manager

Paradox Brewery is seeking an experienced sales professional to cover sales efforts in the capital region and greater Syracuse areas. The purpose of this position is to grow the availability, visibility, velocity, and sales volume of Paradox Brewery beers by calling on retail accounts, educating distributor teams and consumers, and representing Paradox Brewery at events across the assigned territory. Commissions are available every month and are uncapped. Make a minimum of 40 sales calls per week; document every call in Karma. Keep thorough, up-to-date notes and data in Karma - including account contact info, new and closed accounts, and potential leads Build a territory go-to-market plan; stay 100% sell-ready with samples and materials Sell in new distribution, signage, and volume programs; check product quality and freshness in market Educate distributors, retailers, and consumers via meetings, ride-withs, and tastings Review VIP data weekly; report forecasting, and depletion trends to the General Sales Manager Develop and deliver an Annual Business Plan with each distributor; own the distributor relationship Send Monday recap emails to distributors and the General Sales Manager Spend at least 75% of time in-market with accounts, distributors, or consumers Monitor wholesaler inventory stock levels and freshness. Suggest orders or products credits to General Sales Manager as needed. Demonstrate strong product knowledge on all existing and new beer releases.
