Quality Inspector$20-$21/hrJob DescriptionWe are seeking a dedicated Quality Inspector to establish and maintain quality standards for the products we manufacture. The ideal candidate will ensure that operations meet production standards through careful examination of blueprints and specifications.ResponsibilitiesEstablish quality standards for various manufactured products.Read and interpret blueprints and specifications to ensure compliance with production standards.Recommend necessary adjustments and changes to production processes.Inspect and test materials and equipment using gadgets such as micrometers, calipers, and gauges.Remove products that do not meet production standards and recommend strategies to improve product quality.Accept or reject finished products and discuss inspection results with the production team.Perform random inspections to assess product quality.Essential Skills2+ years of mechanical inspection experience, preferably in Aerospace.Familiarity with working to drawings and prints to ensure parts meet standards.Good communication skills.Proficiency in precision measuring tools such as micrometers and calipers.Experience with visual inspection.Additional Skills & QualificationsAnalytical and problem-solving skills.Attention to detail.Technical skills and ability to understand blueprints, documents, and manuals.Knowledge of basic math and computer skills.Ability to influence others to follow rules and regulations.Strong verbal and written communication skills.Why Work Here?After becoming a direct employee, you will be eligible for a monthly bonus program, enhancing your compensation package.Work EnvironmentYou will work in a clean manufacturing environment where most activities are performed on your feet. We offer various positions on both 1st and 2nd shifts, with 1st shift running from 6AM to 4:30PM Monday through Friday and 6AM to 12PM on Saturdays, and 2nd shift from 4PM to 2:30AM Monday through Friday and 12PM to 6PM on Saturdays.Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of Glendale, CA.Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $17.00 - $19.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
