Location: Pomona, CA
Pay: $23/hour
Start Date: September 22, 2026
Contract: 13 weeks
Schedule: 5x8-hour shifts | Start times may vary between 7 AM, 8 AM, and 9 AM

Position Details

Pomona Valley Hospital Medical Center is seeking a Patient Services Representative / ER Admitting Representative for a 13-week contract.

Requirements:

1–2+ years of patient registration or clerical experience
Experience with patient demographics and insurance information
Strong computer and customer service skills
High school diploma or equivalent
Must live within 30 miles of the facility
Must be available for rotating weekends and holidays
Pre-test required before submission
Business casual dress

Responsibilities

Interview patients and collect demographic, financial, and insurance information
Enter and update patient information in the computer system
Verify insurance and identify insurance codes
Obtain patient consents and authorizations
Answer phones and provide customer service
Assist with scheduling and department needs
Perform other duties as assigned
