Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive assessments of clients to evaluate their mental health status and needs, utilizing standardized assessment tools and techniques.

• Develop and implement personalized treatment plans aimed at addressing clients’ specific mental health challenges, including but not limited to anxiety, depression, substance abuse, and eating disorders.

• Facilitate regular therapeutic sessions, utilizing evidence-based practices and culturally responsive techniques to empower clients in their recovery journeys.

• Provide crisis intervention as needed, demonstrating strong skills in managing urgent situations while ensuring client safety and well-being.

• Collaborate with other healthcare providers, such as psychiatrists and primary care practitioners, to coordinate care and refer clients for ancillary services when necessary.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your professional expertise will primarily serve a diverse population, inclusive of individuals facing various mental health conditions. You will work with clients grappling with complex issues ranging from chronic depression and anxiety disorders to substance use disorders and eating disorders. A strong focus will be placed on cultural competence in order to effectively engage with clients from different backgrounds and experiences.

Qualifications\n

• A minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology, Social Work, or a related field from an accredited institution. A Master’s or Doctoral level degree in the same areas is preferred.

• A current and valid state license, such as LMFT, LMHC, or LICSW, to practice as a mental health counselor.

• At least four years of direct experience working in the mental health field, including individual therapy and group therapy.
\n
• Proficient in utilizing evidence-based treatment approaches and understanding a wide range of mental health disorders.

• Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with an ability to establish a therapeutic rapport with clients from diverse backgrounds.

• A commitment to uphold ethical guidelines, confidentiality, and professional boundaries.

Preferred Experience\n

• Experience in delivering therapy via telehealth platforms, with familiarity in relevant technologies and platforms.

Compensation and Benefits\n
