Our Denver-based personal injury law firm is seeking a driven, highly organized Bilingual Legal Assistant to support our growing practice. In this role, you will work directly with our attorneys and paralegals to manage personal injury claims from initial intake through the demand and settlement phases.

The ideal candidate is fully bilingual in English and Spanish , possesses a strong work ethic, and understands how to navigate the medical and administrative complexities of personal injury cases to deliver excellent service to our clients.

Key Responsibilities

• Case Management & Client Communication:
• • Onboard new personal injury clients by gathering initial accident details and accurately entering intake data into our case management system.
  • Serve as a vital bilingual liaison , maintaining regular contact with Spanish- and English-speaking clients to provide case updates and gather treatment status.
  • Manage the intake workflow , including tracking phone logs and generating weekly new-client pipeline reports.
• Medical Records & Document Management:
• • Coordinate document collection by requesting, tracking, and following up on medical records, billing statements, and insurance policies from providers and vendors.
  • Provide robust file support to Paralegals and Attorneys, including high-volume scanning, copying, indexing, and organizing digital and physical case files.
  • Draft routine legal documents , correspondence, formal letters, faxes, and case-related checks.
• Demand & Disbursement Support:
• • Assist with demand packages by compiling and organizing necessary medical records, bills, and evidence once a client concludes treatment.
  • Support the disbursement process by tracking case expenses, coordinating vendor payments, and preparing files for final settlement accounting.
  • Manage scheduling and calendar logistics , including coordinating client appointments, medical exams, and internal legal team meetings.

Requirements & Qualifications

• Language Proficiency: Absolute fluency in both Spanish and English (written and verbal) is required to successfully communicate with our clients and providers.
• Experience: Minimum of 1–2 years of experience as a Legal Assistant or Case Manager, preferably within a Personal Injury law firm.
• Technical Skills: Strong proficiency in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and direct experience with legal case management databases.
• Core Competencies:
• • Familiarity with PI workflows , including medical record requests, liens, insurance coverage terms, and demand preparation.
  • Outstanding time management skills with a proven ability to prioritize tasks, manage high file volumes, and meet strict deadlines.
  • Meticulous attention to detail to ensure medical bills, disbursements, and case data are tracked flawlessly.
  • High level of professionalism and a compassionate approach to assisting injured clients.
