Position Overview

Motion Menders Therapist is actively seeking a dedicated and compassionate Physical Therapist to join our team on a full-time basis. This role focuses on providing top-tier physical therapy services in a home care setting, enabling clients to achieve optimal wellness and mobility from the comfort of their own homes. Reporting directly to the team leader, the Physical Therapist will play a vital role in evaluating patients, developing individualized treatment plans, and monitoring their progress towards rehabilitation goals.

Work Environment

This position is an onsite role primarily focused on home care. Our Physical Therapists work directly with clients in their home environments, ensuring that therapy is tailored to the unique settings and challenges of each individual. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough evaluations of physical function in children and adult clients to assess their specific needs and set measurable goals.
• Design and implement individualized treatment plans that encompass therapeutic exercises, manual therapy techniques, and patient education tailored to each client's unique challenges.
• Regularly re-evaluate clients' progress towards their therapy goals, adapting treatment plans as necessary based on clinical findings and patient feedback.
• Utilize the company's electronic record system to document patient assessments, treatment plans, SOAP notes, and progress summaries accurately and promptly.
• Educate clients and their families about the therapeutic process, expected outcomes, and lifestyle modifications to support recovery and health maintenance.
• Meet or exceed productivity expectations while maintaining a focus on quality patient care and therapy effectiveness.
• Collaborate with a cross-disciplinary team, including occupational and speech therapists, to ensure cohesive and comprehensive care for clients requiring multiple therapeutic services.

Patient Population / Client Focus

As a Physical Therapist at Motion Menders Therapist, you will work with a diverse range of clients, including children with developmental delays, adults recovering from surgeries, and elderly patients facing mobility challenges. This role demands a therapist who is not only proficient in various treatment methodologies but also one who genuinely cares about the well-being and progress of each patient. Qualifications

• A Master's degree or Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited institution is required.
• Current and unrestricted licensure to practice physical therapy in New Jersey as recognized by the Board of Physical Therapy.
• Willingness to conduct both in-person and telehealth evaluations and treatment sessions depending on clinical appropriateness and patient needs.
• Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team and adapt to a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
• A passion for working with diverse populations, showcasing cultural competence and sensitivity.

Preferred Experience

• Experience in home care settings or specialized populations (e.g., pediatrics, geriatrics, sports medicine) is preferred but not mandatory.
• Familiarity with electronic health record systems to facilitate efficient documentation and communication.
• Previous experience in patient education, specifically regarding physical rehabilitation and wellness strategies.

Compensation and Benefits

This full-time position offers a competitive salary ranging from $100,000 to $120,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications. Motion Menders Therapist also offers an attractive benefits package, including:
