Mail Clerk for Edwardsville, ILHeyl Royster is a large, fast-paced law firm seeking motivated, organized, and reliable individual for a full-time Mail Clerk opening in our Edwardsville office.A DAY IN THE LIFE AS A MAIL CLERKAs a Mail Clerk, you will spend most of your time handling electronic and paper mail in an office environment - sorting, organizing, and sending. You will independently and correctly scan, save, and email documents. You will efficiently and thoroughly manage digital document filing, including encrypted documents and email correspondence. You will excel at processing reports in both electronic and paper form.You will fill handle other general office duties that could include reception, front desk, etc.You will also provide excellent customer service to the attorneys, paralegals, and staff.QUALIFICATIONS TO BE A MAIL CLERKMust have excellent computer skills working with Microsoft Office and office equipment such as a photocopier, scanner, etc.Exceptional attention to detail requiredPrior office or law firm experience a bonusExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsOutstanding organizational skillsHigh school diploma or equivalent requiredCompensation and BenefitsThe base salary range is $15.50 to $20.00 an hour. The salary offered will take into account several factors including, but not limited to, geographic location, experience, scope & responsibilities of the role, qualifications/credentials, talent availability and specialization, as well as business needs.
