Travel Medical-Surgical RN in Lynn, MA

Professionally, you'll enhance your nursing acumen through exposure to diverse surgical patient populations, including general, GYN, vascular, thoracic, urology, oral, plastics, and trauma recoveries. Schedule/Hours:

• 36 hours/week
• Night shifts
• Every other weekend required
• No rotation required for nights

Desired Skills & Required Qualifications:

• Minimum 2 years of recent med-surg nursing experience
• Current Massachusetts RN license
• AHA BLS certification
• Telemetry monitoring (ability to read tele strips required)
• Proficient in managing chest tubes, NGTs, epidurals, and capnography
• Preferred: Experience with arterial lines and neo-synephrine
• Willingness to float between units

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver safe, respectful, and competent care to surgical and stepdown patients
• Monitor telemetry and interpret rhythm strips
• Manage a range of post-surgical interventions and patient conditions
• Accurately document care using EPIC EMR
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams and support patient-centered care
