Associate, Venture Capital Investing

Dartmouth Partners is looking for an Investment Associate to join their venture capital team in Los Angeles. This role is perfect for someone with a background in tech investing and a passion for culture and media. You’ll be involved in sourcing deals, conducting due diligence, and supporting portfolio companies. It’s a great opportunity to grow your career in a dynamic and innovative environment. What You’ll Do Lead due diligence on potential investments, including financial modeling and market analysis. Prepare high-quality investment memos and presentations. Source new investment opportunities and track market trends. Engage in discussions during investment committee meetings. Support portfolio companies by leveraging the firm’s network. Collaborate with a small, dynamic team. What You Need 1-2 years in a tech-focused investing role at a growth equity or late-stage VC fund. 2 years of experience in technology-focused M&A investment banking. Recent college graduate from 2021-2023. Strong understanding of market dynamics and founder narratives. Comfortable engaging in investment committee discussions. Entrepreneurial mindset with a passion for culture and media. Excellent relationship-building skills. Must be authorized to work in the US.
