Our Food Division is a broad line multi‑state distributor and our Beverage Division operates throughout Texas, distributing Anheuser‑Busch products, craft and import beer brands, spirits, and wine. Responsibilities Establish relationships with customers and potential customers to increase sales volume in assigned territory. Sell products to On Premise and/or Off Premise accounts while tracking and recording product distribution. Manage accounts’ inventory and maintain product freshness standards. Build healthy business relationships and maintain good communication with retail customers. Collaborate with customers to understand needs and design solutions that fulfill them. Leverage relationships with accounts to sell new brands. Engage in regular calls with assigned retail accounts to sell product, gain distribution, merchandise, and stock product. Promote Ben E. Keith brands at retail through promotions, consumer education, and merchandising. Execute all company goals to enhance sales, distribution, shelf space, display coverage, tap share and merchandising of all brands carried by Ben E. Keith. Build product displays; place signage and other merchandising material to ensure maximum brand visibility. Maintain the "Look of the Leader" in all assigned retail accounts. Execute basic marketing activities (e.g., advertising features, out‑of‑stocks, retailer policies and concerns). Identify merchandising opportunities and make recommendations to customers. Replace merchandising material to coincide with marketing programs. Ensure maximum visibility of Ben E. Keith products at accounts (beer shelves, beer caves, displays, etc.) and proper pricing. Organize and refill back stock, coolers, beer shelves and displays. Maintain designated back stock area free of trash. Maintain product freshness standards by monitoring and rotating stock regularly. Monitor inventory to ensure proper stock levels and rotation. Attend daily meetings with Area Sales Manager to discuss market opportunities and challenges. Communicate sales and merchandising opportunities or challenges to Area Sales Manager. Project a friendly, professional image at all times. Prioritize multiple, competing priorities. Attend meetings as required. Operate company equipment safely and in accordance with company policy. Maintain and keep clean assigned company vehicle at all times. Complete assigned surveys to gauge internal results versus competition. Assist with special event activity in assigned territory. Driver Safety Driver safety is important to Ben E. Keith. We use dash cameras which leverage artificial intelligence to recognize safe driving, capture safety events and improve driver safety performance. All drivers sign a driver consent form upon hire to confirm their understanding. Qualifications Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment. Ability to coordinate multiple activities and follow through with commitments. Good oral and written communication skills; able to work well in a team. Highly motivated and results‑oriented with strong attention to detail. Organized and capable of handling multiple priorities. Basic mathematical calculation skills. Proficient in reading and writing English. Must be 18 years old or older to apply. Valid Texas driver’s license with a clean driving record. Ability to move products weighing up to 165 lbs., stoop, kneel, crouch, talk and hear. Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) preferred. Basic computer skills preferred. Ability to learn and effectively use a handheld sales unit. High school graduate or GED required.
