Staff Accountant

Role Overview

Stardom Employment Consultants is seeking a detail-oriented Staff Accountant to support accurate, timely financial reporting and day-to-day accounting operations. This position is ideal for a motivated accounting professional who enjoys working with numbers, improving processes, and collaborating across departments.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare journal entries, account reconciliations, and month-end close schedules
• Maintain accurate general ledger records and supporting documentation
• Assist with accounts payable, accounts receivable, billing, and cash applications
• Reconcile bank, credit card, and balance sheet accounts
• Support the preparation of financial statements and management reports
• Research and resolve accounting discrepancies in a timely manner
• Assist with audits, budgeting, forecasting, and other special projects

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field preferred
• One to three years of accounting experience; internship experience may be considered
• Knowledge of GAAP and fundamental accounting principles
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, including formulas and data analysis
• Experience with accounting software or enterprise resource planning systems
• Strong attention to detail, organization, and problem-solving skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
