Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough assessments and evaluations of clients to establish their mental health needs, including detailed diagnostic assessments to inform treatment plans.

• Provide individualized one-on-one counseling sessions that address a wide array of mental health issues, such as anxiety, depression, trauma, and addiction; each session is designed to be a safe space for clients to express their emotions and concerns.

• Facilitate group therapy sessions, including support groups and psychoeducational groups, where clients can share experiences and learn from one another in a supportive environment.
\n
• Design and implement customized treatment plans with specific goals and interventions tailored to each client's unique situation, monitoring progress and making adjustments as necessary.

• Respond effectively to crisis situations by providing immediate support, assessing risk, and coordinating emergency interventions to ensure client safety and well-being.

• Engage in continuous professional development through ongoing training, workshops, and seminars to remain current on best practices and innovative treatment methodologies in mental health care.

• Collaborate closely with interdisciplinary mental health teams, including psychiatrists, psychologists, and social workers, to ensure comprehensive, holistic care for clients.

The clients we serve encompass a diverse range of backgrounds and mental health challenges. Our services address individuals dealing with anxiety, depression, PTSD, suicidal ideation, and substance misuse. Qualifications\n

• A master’s or doctoral degree in counseling, psychology, or a related field from an accredited institution.

• Possession of a valid license as a mental health counselor in New York State or eligibility to obtain licensure in a timely manner.

• A minimum of three years of supervised clinical experience, demonstrating a robust foundation in diverse therapeutic approaches.

Compensation and Benefits\n
