Front Desk Supervisor - Full Time

$20 per hour

Location & Compensation Location: 1 Arlington St, Quincy, MA 02171, United States Base Pay: $20.00 per hour (Full Time) Job Description We are seeking a friendly, customer service focused Front Desk Supervisor to join our team at Staybridge Suites and Holiday Inn Express. This is a full‑time position located in Quincy, MA. In this position you will manage the front desk team, handle guest registration and reservations, and provide guests with information about the hotel and local area. Work Performed Manage online, phone, and in‑person room reservations in a fast‑paced environment Ensure the lobby is in proper order by performing daily walkthroughs Support and assist team members in handling guest inquiries, requests, and complaints Cover desk shifts when necessary Manage all functions of the Front Office, including operations and staffing Schedule, assign daily work, lead pre‑shift meetings, and train team members Communicate shift information to the next shift and direct supervisor Welcome guests, check them in/out, distribute room keys, and explain hotel amenities Take payment and resolve any payment discrepancies Respond to guest issues and complaints in a friendly, timely manner Explain local amenities and attractions to guests Work with other staff to ensure guest rooms meet standards and accommodate special requests Keep workstations and equipment clean, organized, and in working order Perform duties as outlined in training procedures, following SOPs Perform other duties as assigned by management Requirements High school education or equivalent experience At least 2 years of full‑time employment in a related position Must be able to work onsite at the hotel location Full‑time 40 hours per week; flexible for AM, mid, PM, weekends, and holidays Proficiency in English Willingness to learn new technology platforms Ability to stand at the front desk for long periods Ability to lift/push up to 50 lbs.
