LVN / LPN - Ambulatory Care/Clinic/Outpatient

Job Summary:

Provide outpatient nursing care within a busy ambulatory clinic setting. Deliver essential patient services, including vein ablation, venipuncture, and other outpatient procedures, ensuring compliance with clinical standards.

Responsibilities:

• 
  Perform venipuncture, blood withdrawal, and IV procedures adhering to sterile techniques.
  
  
• 
  Operate in EPIC electronic health record system to document patient encounters accurately.
  
  
• 
  Assist with vein ablation and EVLT procedures, maintaining sterile field protocols.
  
  
• 
  Support patient care activities during scheduled shifts, including day and flexible hours.
  
  
• 
  Float to other specialty clinics as needed, demonstrating adaptability and teamwork.
  
  
• 
  Maintain certification requirements and ensure compliance with clinic policies and safety standards.
  
  

Qualifications:

• 
  Minimum of 2 years outpatient clinic experience in venous or vascular procedures.
  
  
• 
  Valid California LVN license with active IV certification at the time of submission.
  
  
• 
  Current BLS certification from AHA or ARC.
  
  
• 
  Proficiency in EPIC electronic health record system.
  
  
• 
  Ability to perform venipuncture and blood withdrawal with precision.
  
  
• 
  Flexibility to float and adapt to changing clinic needs.
