Job Description & Requirements Specialty: ICU - Intensive Care Unit Discipline: RN Start Date: 10/12/2026 Duration: 13 weeks36 hours per week Shift: 12 hours, nights Employment Type: Travel Job Summary Intensive Care Unit (ICU) Registered Nurse (RN) position is located in a healthcare facility. The role involves providing specialized critical care for adult and geriatric patients, with a focus on neuro cases. The position requires flexibility to float within the facility as needed and provides an opportunity to work with a multidisciplinary team in a fast-paced environment. Job Details Schedule: Nights shift, 12 hours per shift, with a minimum of 36 hours per week. Required Qualifications Current California RN license, BLS (Basic Life Support), ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support), CPI (Crisis Prevention Institute) certification. A minimum of 2 years of ICU RN experience in neuro patient care is preferred. Preferred Qualifications Experience with monitoring and managing critically ill patients, including neuro-specific procedures and equipment such as ICP monitoring and Traumatic Brain Injury protocols. Float: Float to other units within scope of practice may be required; staff can anticipate notice of 1.5 hours prior to shift start, with shuttle service provided if floating is requested. Additional Information The assignment begins on 10/12/2026 and lasts until 01/11/2027. All credentialing and compliance documents must be completed and submitted 10 days prior to start date. The role involves working with adult and geriatric populations, managing ventilators, invasive lines, and other critical care procedures. Orientation includes 12 hours of training and modules that are non-billable but essential for clinical competency.
