Human Resources Generalist

MCS is seeking a Human Resources Generalist to join our Human Resources team. This position provides broad HR support in recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, benefits administration, leave management, compliance, payroll support, workers' compensation, and training.

The ideal candidate is a compassionate, organized, and knowledgeable HR professional who can effectively support employees and managers while ensuring compliance with employment laws and company policies.


Key Responsibilities:

• Support recruitment, hiring, onboarding, and orientation processes.
• Administer employee benefits and assist with open enrollment.
• Manage FMLA and other employee leave requests.
• Maintain employee records and ensure HR compliance.
• Advise managers on employee relations, performance management, and disciplinary matters.
• Conduct workplace investigations and assist with conflict resolution.
• Support payroll changes, unemployment claims, and workers' compensation processes.
• Assist with safety initiatives, reporting requirements, and special HR projects.

• Provide backup support to HR team members and front desk operations (Receptionist) as needed.

Qualifications:

• Associate degree in Human Resources, Business, or related field, or equivalent experience.
• Knowledge of federal and state employment laws and HR best practices.
• Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience with benefits, employee relations, and HR administration preferred.
• Commitment to supporting individuals with developmental disabilities.
