The Opportunity
Western Landscape is one of Sacramento’s most respected commercial landscape management companies. We serve industrial parks, HOA communities, and Class A office campuses across the Sacramento metro and Vacaville corridor — and we’re growing.
Western Landscape has historically grown through owner-led business development and long-standing relationships. As we continue to grow, we are building a more dedicated and intentional approach to new business development. In this role, you will have the full support of leadership, a clearly defined ideal client profile, and the opportunity to make a significant impact within a company known for trusted client partnerships and delivering on its promises.This means you won’t be inheriting someone else’s territory or competing with six other reps for the same leads. You’ll be building something real — with a defined ICP, and a company that has over a decade of delivering what it promises.

The Role
You will own the full outbound sales cycle — from prospecting and relationship development through proposal delivery, close, and handoff to our Client Success team. You will focus on three commercial segments: industrial / business park, HOA communities, and Class A office and retail campuses.
Day-to-day, you will:
• Identify and pursue new commercial landscape management accounts in your target geography
• Conduct property walks and site assessments to build accurate, competitive proposals
• Build relationships with property managers, HOA management firms, asset managers, and facilities directors
• Develop centers of influence at CAI, BOMA, and through complementary vendor relationships
• Deliver polished, personalized proposals that explain our landscape management approach — not just a price sheet
• Manage your pipeline in Aspire CRM and report weekly leading-indicator metrics to leadership
• Execute warm handoff to Client Success Manager for every new account
What We’re Looking For
Required:
• 2+ years of B2B outside sales experience with a track record of winning new business — not just managing accounts
• Proven ability to self-manage a full pipeline from prospecting through close
• Comfortable with a 3–9 month sales cycle and seasonal decision timelines
• Strong in-person presence and communication skills — you can walk a property and walk a boardroom
• Valid CA driver’s license and reliable vehicle for field-based work
Strongly preferred:
• Experience in commercial property services, real estate services, HOA management, or facilities-related sales
• Existing relationships with property managers, HOA management firms, or commercial asset managers in the Sacramento region
• Military background — we deeply value the discipline, adaptability, and team orientation veterans bring
• CRM fluency and strong personal organization systems
Compensation & Benefits
• Base salary: $90,000/year
• Commission structure: Earn an additional $70,000+ when you hit your annual new revenue goal — OTE $160,000 at 100% of plan
