Key Responsibilities\n

• Deliver mindfulness-based interventions, including MBSR techniques, to assist clients in achieving stress reduction, relaxation, and personal growth.

• Conduct thorough initial assessments to identify clients' unique stressors, challenges, and mental health goals, customizing mindfulness practices to serve their needs.

• Guide clients through mindfulness exercises, meditation practices, and breathing techniques that promote emotional regulation, self-awareness, and overall mental wellness.

• Facilitate engaging virtual workshops and classes on mindfulness practices, stress management, and resilience-building strategies for groups of various sizes.

• Integrate mindfulness techniques into personalized therapy sessions, addressing specific mental health challenges while fostering holistic client development.

• Collaborate with other therapists, healthcare providers, and multidisciplinary teams to create comprehensive treatment plans that incorporate mindfulness approaches in a supportive manner.

• Maintain meticulous documentation of client progress, treatment plans, and mindfulness interventions to ensure continuity of care and adherence to best practices.

• Engage in regular personal mindfulness practice and self-reflection, alongside ongoing training and professional development to deepen your expertise in MBSR.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your role will focus on a diverse client population, including individuals experiencing anxiety, depression, stress-related disorders, and other mental health challenges. By implementing mindfulness techniques, you will help clients develop tools to cope with their circumstances, recognize their strengths, and establish a foundation for sustained emotional well-being.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution is required.

• Current and valid licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) in Pennsylvania is a must.

• Experience or training in Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction (MBSR) is preferred, but not mandatory.

• Demonstrated proficiency in integrating mindfulness practices into therapeutic approaches.

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to create a safe and supportive environment for clients.

Compensation and Benefits\n
