Key Responsibilities\n

As an LMSW, your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

• Conducting comprehensive clinical assessments to evaluate student mental health needs and developing personalized treatment plans based on established, evidence-based practices.

• Implementing a variety of therapeutic modalities, including Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), tailored to individual client preferences and evidence-based practices.

• Maintaining meticulous clinical records in compliance with HIPAA regulations, ensuring all documentation reflects your interactions with clients accurately and in a timely manner.

• Collaborating with a diverse treatment team, including psychiatrists, educational staff, and mental health professionals, to coordinate care that addresses all aspects of a student’s well-being.

• Participating in regular case consultations and continuing education opportunities to enhance the quality of care delivered.

• Providing education and advocacy to students and their families about mental health issues, treatment options, and community resources available for ongoing support.

• Managing a caseload of students effectively, ensuring that treatment goals are met promptly, and adhering to ethical standards set by the National Association of Social Workers (NASW).

Your focus will primarily be on students from diverse backgrounds, addressing various mental health concerns such as anxiety, depression, behavioral issues, and trauma-related challenges. Qualifications\n

• A Master’s degree in Social Work from an accredited institution.

• A valid LMSW license to practice in New York.

• A minimum of 3 years of clinical experience, particularly in providing psychotherapy in educational settings or with youth populations.

Compensation and Benefits\n

We offer a competitive salary range of USD 80,000 – 100,000 annually, reflecting your experience and expertise.
