Job Description

Helpers are great team players that like to support technicians in servicing a wide variety of equipment including commercial doors, dock levelers, vehicle restraints, warehouse racking, dock shelters, and air curtains. Successful Helpers have basic knowledge of tools and machinery, critical thinking and problem solving skills, and the ability to learn on the job. Helpers also need good customer service skills, as they are the face of the company in the field.

Job Requirements:

· Ability to follow manufacturer’s instructions to properly install and maintain assorted equipment

· Ability to work outdoors, in cold or freezer storage, at heights, and safely lift 75 pounds

· Ensure safe working conditions and procedures on all job sites

· Make accurate and detailed field notes to document work performed,

parts used, parts needed, and photographs of job site

· Valid driver’s license and good driving record

· Work overtime as needed to address customer needs

Required Competencies:

· Customer service

· Critical thinking and problem solving

· Safe operation of hand and power tools

· Safe Forklift and scissor lift operation
