Kansas City Orthopaedic Alliance Physical Therapy is seeking a Full-Time Licensed Physical Therapist to serve as Clinic Director for our growing outpatient therapy team in the Kansas City metro area.

As part of our continued commitment to expanding access to high-quality rehabilitation services, we are opening a brand-new outpatient physical therapy clinic in Lenexa, Kansas, this fall.

The Clinic Director will play a key role in launching and leading this new location, building a strong team culture, developing referral relationships, and delivering outstanding patient care. Position Summary

The Clinic Director is responsible for providing clinical leadership, operational oversight, and staff development while maintaining a high standard of patient care and customer service.

Essential Responsibilities

• Lead daily clinic operations while fostering a positive, patient-centered culture.
• Deliver exceptional physical therapy services and demonstrate superior clinical outcomes.
• Build, mentor, and develop clinical and support staff.
• Promote accountability, teamwork, and professional growth among team members.
• Collaborate closely with orthopedic physicians and healthcare professionals to provide coordinated patient care.
• Drive patient satisfaction, clinical quality, and operational efficiency.
• Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements, company policies, and professional standards.
• Identify and implement staff education and development opportunities.
• Monitor clinic performance metrics and implement strategies to achieve goals.
• Maintain knowledge of clinic policies, procedures, organizational structure, and strategic initiatives.
• Communicate effectively with physicians, patients, staff, and leadership teams.
• Support business development initiatives and community outreach efforts.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Minimum Requirements

• Bachelors, Masters, or Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program.
• Current, active, and unrestricted Physical Therapist license in the State of Kansas (or ability to obtain prior to start date).
• Minimum of 1–3 years of outpatient leadership or management experience preferred.
• Experience in outpatient orthopedic and/or private practice physical therapy.
• Strong understanding of the Kansas Physical Therapy Practice Act and applicable compliance regulations.
• Proven leadership, communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to lead teams, influence positive outcomes, and drive clinic performance.
• Working knowledge of computer systems and software applications utilized in clinical operations.
• Ability to pass a background check and any required pre-employment screenings.
